Golfers will once again have the chance to hit the links for a good cause during the 2nd Annual Drive to Thrive Golf Scramble, hosted by the Valley City Parks & Recreation Foundation.

The tournament will take place Friday, June 19th, at Bjornson Golf Course with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start and check-in beginning at 9:00 a.m. The event will feature a four-person, 18-hole scramble format and is open to teams looking for a fun day of golf, games, food, and community connection.

While the tournament promises plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and enjoying a day on the course, the event also serves an important purpose. Proceeds from the scramble will support the VCPR Foundation Scholarship Program and the Foundation’s mission of making recreation and wellness opportunities more accessible for individuals and families throughout the Valley City area.
The cost to register is $300 per team. Registration includes golf and a meal with free-will donation beverages throughout the day and burgers/hot dogs on Hole 5.
Those interested in signing up can stop into the Gaukler Family Wellness Center, call the wellness center, or email Patrick at patrickj@vcparks.com.
