The Valley City Parks and Recreation Foundation has been established to promote the mission of the Valley City Parks and Recreation District:
The mission of Valley City Parks and Recreation is to promote broad based parks and recreation opportunities in order to improve the quality of life for people of all ages, stages and abilities in a cost-effective and financially responsible manner.

Future Recreation Leader Scholarship
The Valley City Parks and Recreation Foundation serves as a steward of recreation, wellness, and health in our community. We support local parks, trails, and programs that encourage people of all ages and abilities to live actively and lead by example. To inspire the next generation, we established this scholarship to recognize students pursuing careers in recreation, wellness, and related fields—helping them grow into leaders who will continue to promote healthy, active communities.

Our goals
Provide scholarships for youth programs and activities
Offer reduced memberships for individuals that qualify
Contribute to the conservation of natural resources and green spaces in the community
Drive capital campaigns for projects such as new playgrounds, equipment, and amenities to enhance and update recreation opportunity
Ways to Contribute:
We are accepting monetary donations at this time. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit those in our community that may need financial help for youth programs and Gaukler Family Wellness Center memberships.
