Bjornson Park Public Golf Course
The par 35 course measures just under 3,000 yards. The natural and manmade hazards, hilly terrain and large greens make this course an experience for all golfers.
Community Outdoor Pool
The Community Pool features a zero-depth entry pool with fountains and slides throughout the pool for children. There is also a 148-foot water slide for all ages to enjoy*.
Tourist Park Campground
It is open mid-May through mid-October. This camping facility has 27 sites with full hook-ups (sewer, water, and electricity) This facility has showers and restrooms.
City Park
City Park features picnic shelters, picnic tables, playground equipment, and restrooms. There are also three tennis courts with lights which are available to players until midnight.
Gaukler Family Wellness Center
A family-friendly fitness facility featuring a large gym, cardio and weights equipment, a playground, and a pool and hot tub!

Chautauqua Park
On Park Grounds, you’ll find playground equipment, sand volleyball courts, picnic tables and shelters, and cornhole.

Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park features a picnic area and handicap accessible playground equipment. There is also a gazebo and seasonal outdoor ice rink and warming house.
Skate Park
Various size obstacles and ramps for skaters of all ages. With both small and large ramps, the skate park is the perfect place to begin your skating or rollerblading!​
Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Memorial Park features monuments honoring local veterans. Static displays include an inert missile, a Navy anchor, 2 Howitzer Cannons and an F104C Aircraft.
Dacotah Pavilion
An all-purpose event center located in Chautauqua Park that features a full kitchen, heating/air conditioning, tables and chairs to seat 150 people, and a flat screen TV.
Rec Center
Housing basketball tournament, open and co-ed volleyball, amateur basketball, and special events. The Rec Center can be rented. For more details, call 701-845-3294.
Charlie Brown Memorial Field
Charlie Brown Field is home to both the Valley City Hi-Liners (VCPS) and Valley City State University Vikings (VCSU). Legion baseball also plays on these fields.
