Good morning basketball enthusiast,

Valley City Parks & Recreation have been monitoring the changes around the state and in our community. Last week, the mayor of Valley City stressed the importance of masks and social distracting by putting out new guidelines for our town.  The changes will affect how we are able to continue to have our youth basketball tournaments. We have decided at this time to decrease the number of wrist bands that will be given out. Each rostered player will only receive one band plus the band that they will be required to wear. We ask that any spectators wear a mask while inside our facilities and do the temperature scans before wrist bands are given out. All of this is subject to change as state and local guidelines continue to develop. We are doing everything we can to navigate during these trying times. If you have any questions, please email me at amyp@vcparks.com or call 845-3294.

Thank you,

Amy Pederson, Recreation Manager
